Concurrency Locks
Dupes love a race. A lot of them work by doing two things at the very same instant and catching the plugin before it has finished the first, two players buying one auction at once, or a single player's inventory being changed from two directions at the same time.
One at a time, where it counts
ProtonAuctions does not allow those races. The moment a purchase begins, the auction is claimed, so a second buyer arriving a heartbeat later is cleanly told it has already sold rather than being allowed to buy it as well. In the same way, changes to any one player's items are handled one at a time, so two actions can never overlap and leave a duplicate behind.
Quiet and instant
This happens in a fraction of a millisecond, and only exactly where it is needed, on the one auction or the one player involved. The rest of the auction house keeps moving at full speed. Players never notice it, and it never slows your server down.
