Autopilot finds economy plugins that do not have a built-in hook and adds their currency automatically, so it shows up in the currency picker with no extra config.

It is off by default. Turn it on with autopilotEnabled: true in currencies.yml.

When it is on:

  • A moment after startup it scans the plugins on your server for economy-style APIs, skipping the ones ProtonAuctions already supports directly, such as Vault, PlayerPoints, TokenManager, CoinsEngine, ExcellentEconomy, GemsEconomy, EcoBits and X-Prison.
  • A plugin only qualifies with a deposit or add method and a matching withdraw or take method. A method that sets a balance outright is never used.
  • Before trusting one it finds, it runs a safety check on an internal test account, a synthetic id that is never a real player. It adds and removes a small amount twice, the numbers must add up both times, and the test account is put back to its exact starting balance.
  • A plugin whose add method just moves the Vault balance is skipped, because it is your default currency under another name.
  • Only economies that pass the check are used.

Because the check calls your economy plugin's real add and remove methods, autopilot is off by default and is meant for advanced setups where an economy has no built-in hook. Most servers do not need it, since Vault already covers most economies. If the check's cleanup ever fails, ProtonAuctions logs a clear warning with the exact amount and account to correct by hand.
