Listings

A barter listing is an item a player has put up to trade for goods rather than coins.

Creating one

List an item for barter through the auction house, the same way you would sell it, but choosing to trade for items instead of setting a price. The item you list is held in escrow while it waits for offers.

Asking for specific items

When you create a listing, you can name the items you are hoping to get in return. Those requested items are shown to anyone viewing the listing, with a running tally of how well each offer matches them. They are a guide, not a gate: offers that do not match are still allowed, and you are free to accept whichever one you like.

Browsing and managing

Barter listings appear in the Barter category of /ah, alongside the rest of the auction house. Your own listings sit in /ah my, where you can review their offers or cancel a listing. Cancelling returns your item to you and hands every pending offer back to the player who made it.

Limits and expiry

How many listings a player may have, how many requested items each can name, and whether listings expire after a time, are all set under barterSettings in config.yml.
