The oldest auction-house exploit is a simple one: make the plugin hand over the item and the money a split second apart, break the connection in that gap, and walk away with both. ProtonAuctions closes the gap completely.

One move, not two

A purchase, a won bid, a buyout, the currency and the item change hands as a single move inside the native core. There is no in-between moment to catch. Either the whole trade lands, or none of it does.

If something goes wrong, nothing is lost

If any step cannot finish, a payout that fails, an inventory with no room, the trade rewinds to exactly where it began. Nothing is created and nothing vanishes. Anything that could not be delivered right then waits safely in the Claim Bin for the player to collect, instead of dropping on the floor or disappearing. How that safety net holds an item mid-trade is in Escrow Rollback.
