The Sell Command
List the item you are holding with:
/ah sell <price> [duration] [type] [buyout] [currency]| Argument | Required | What it does |
|---|---|---|
price | yes | The price for a Buy It Now, or the starting bid for an auction. Accepts shorthand like 1k or 1.5m. See Format Reference. |
duration | no | How long the listing runs, like 12h or 2d. Leave it off to use the server default, 24 hours. Your rank can set a shorter longest time, see Rank limits. |
type | no | BIN for Buy It Now, or BID for an auction. Defaults to BIN. |
buyout | no | For a BID auction, an optional instant-buy price. It must be above the starting price, and is ignored for BIN. |
currency | no | The id of the currency to sell in, which skips the currency picker. See Currency ids. To use it, fill in the arguments before it, with -1 for a buyout you do not want. |
You must be holding the item in your main hand, and the whole held stack is listed as one auction. Listing is not possible in a world where the auction house is off, during combat, or in creative mode. See Restrictions.
If your server offers more than one currency and you leave currency off, a picker opens so you can choose which to sell in. Otherwise the listing uses the default currency. See Currencies.
A listing is checked against the server's rules first: the price must sit within the configured minimum and maximum, the item must not be blacklisted, and you must be under your active-listings limit, which can differ by rank. When it sells, the server takes its tax and pays you the rest. Those limits and the tax rate live in config.yml.
