ProtonAuctions is in public beta. See Beta Phase for what is stable and what is still maturing.
An auction house is where your economy's money lives, which makes it the first thing a duper or a cracker goes after. In ProtonAuctions, protecting it is not bolted on at the end. It is the part we are proudest of, and it is built like it matters.
Three promises hold it together:
- Nothing dupes. Every trade is all or nothing. Money and items move together or not at all, so no exploit can leave a copy behind or an item in two places.
- The database cannot be edited into cheating. What the plugin trusts is encrypted. The values you can read are decoys, and changing one is spotted the moment it is read.
- Your server is always yours. The security aims squarely at people cracking the plugin, never at you. Whatever happens with a licence, ProtonAuctions never locks, deletes, or damages your data.
And it stays out of your way. There is nothing to set up, the heavy lifting runs in a compiled core off to the side, and your players never feel it.
To anyone thinking of cracking it: the logic that matters never runs in the open, the core checks itself and the plugin's files every time it starts, and it refuses to run the moment something has been touched. There is no single thread to pull.
