Search

The search button in the /ah menu, or /ah search <text>, filters the grid to listings that match what a player types.

What it matches

Search looks at each listing's item name, its seller, and its first line of lore, so a player can find items by what they are, who is selling them, or a keyword in their description.

How matching works

• It matches by the start of a word, so typing dia finds diamond, diamonds and diamond sword.
• Extra words narrow the results, and all of them must match. diamond sword finds diamond swords, not every diamond and every sword.
• It ignores case and punctuation, so netherite_ingot and netherite ingot search the same.

Always instant

The whole search runs from an in-memory index that updates as listings come and go, so results come back instantly even on a busy server.
