ProtonAuctions is in public beta. See Beta Phase for what is stable and what is still maturing.

Everything the auction house remembers, your listings, bids, sales, and claims, lives in a database. ProtonAuctions supports four, and picking the right one is mostly about whether you run one server or several.

  • SQLite is the default. It needs no setup at all, but it lives on one machine and cannot be shared.
  • MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL are full database servers that several servers can share, which is what a network needs.

All of them are configured in the database block of config.yml. The pages below give the exact settings for each.
