Everything ProtonAuctions does, grouped by area. Each line links to the page that covers it in full.

Auctions

  • Buy-now, bidding and buyout. List for a fixed price, run a timed auction with bids, or offer an outright buyout. See Buying & Selling.
  • Anti-snipe. A bid placed in the final moments extends the auction and keeps the current winner, so a late bid cannot steal a win on timing alone.
  • Categories, search and sorting. Browse by category, search by name, and sort by price, time or name. See Browsing.
  • Shulker previews. Inspect the contents of a shulker box before you buy.
  • Restrictions. Keep the auction house out of fights, chosen worlds and creative mode. See Restrictions.
  • Rank limits. Give each rank its own listing limit and listing time. See Rank limits.
  • Watchers. Follow an item and get a message when a matching listing appears. See Watchers.
  • Pointer menus. An optional auction house drawn on screen and used with the mouse, with a layout editor for staff. Players who prefer the chest menus keep them. See Pointer Menus.

Barter

  • Item-for-item trading. Trade items directly with no currency, held in escrow until both sides agree. See Barter.
  • Requested items. A seller can say what they want in return and see a live match tally on each offer.

Economy engine

  • Price suggestions. Proposes a fair price for a listed item, learned from your server's own trades. It stays quiet on items it has not seen enough of. See Price Suggestions.
  • Fraud and anomaly detection. Flags wash trading, alt scams, coordinated activity and price manipulation for your staff. See Trust & Fraud.
  • Custom-item pricing. Recognises items from Nexo, Oraxen, ItemsAdder, MMOItems and MythicMobs by their own id and prices them by rarity, and tells spawners from SilkSpawners and SpawnerMeta apart by their mob. See Custom-Item Pricing.
  • Data hooks. Learns real prices from player shops and trades, takes price floors and ceilings from server shops and sell plugins, and checks payments between players for alt rings. See Data Hooks.

Currencies

  • Multi-currency listings. Run auctions in more than one currency at once, including the currencies of PlayerPoints, TokenManager, CoinsEngine, ExcellentEconomy, GemsEconomy, EcoBits, X-Prison and zEssentials. See Currencies.
  • Real exchange rates. Set rates yourself, or let the engine learn them from cross-currency trades.
  • Configurable tax. Take a percentage cut on each sale.

Claims and delivery

  • Claim bin. Won items and payouts wait safely in a claim bin, and can auto-deliver when the player comes online. See Claims.

Moving in

  • Imports from other auction plugins. Bring listings, unclaimed items, money owed and past sales across from zAuctionHouse, Player Auctions, AuctionMaster, klugemonkey's AuctionHouse, Kiranhart's Auction House or AxAuctions. See Migrating.

Scoreboards and menus

  • PlaceholderAPI placeholders. Show a player's sales and claims, the market, item values and top lists on scoreboards and in menus. See Placeholders.

Networks

  • Shared database. Run one auction house across a whole network on MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL. See Networks.
  • Redis sync. Optional live cross-server updates on top of a shared database.

Security

  • Atomic transactions. Every sale is all-or-nothing, so no half-finished trades and no duplicated items. See Security.
  • Tamper-proof listings. Listings are sealed against direct database edits.
  • Installation-bound data. Your data is tied to your install, so a licence problem never locks or corrupts it.

For the current maturity of each feature, see Beta Phase.
